Game 3 of the Season

I think we all have to admit that our Thunderbolts are improving. I am very happy at our players performance which translated into 2 goals for the team. Danny rocked the house as he scored the 2 goals for his team. It is clear that practice is paying off big time and we MUST continue to practice in order to keep up our momentum. Our team created much more opportunities than ever to score and this is exactly what they must continue to do as a team. I saw much better passing and this is something we are working on during our practices.

Congratulations to our Thunderbolts!!!!

Game 2 of the Season

As we concluded game two of the season, I could clearly see that we have improved from our previous game. One thing that I do admire in our players, is that even though we lost and they were not happy about it, they accepted it and are looking forward to the next game. No one like to lose, its not fun, but if there is a lesson to be learned from this experience is that it does strike a raw cord in our players and I strongly believe that our practices will become more focused and efficient which will translate into better players and games.

A big congratulations to John Michael for scoring the last goal of the game in the last seconds of the game. Way to go John Micheal!!!

I also want to thank the dads that helped out this past week at our practice. It's a great help and perhaps we can continue this to split the players into smaller groups for our soccer drills.

Thanks, Coach Fig.

Parking for Soccer Games

Here is a message all Coaches received from Maria Jacquemin of Pinecrest Premier:

Coaches,

It is very important that you let all your families know not to park in the lawns of the neighbors across from the school on any side of the school. The faculty parking lot holds at least 100 cars and there is parking all around the school on the school side.

There will be NO PARKING  signs placed in the yards on the east side of the school. Anyone removing the signs to park there will be ticketed and towed and anyone who parks in someones lawn will be ticketed and towed.

Please be aware of this we wouldn't want anyone towed.

Thank you,
Maria

Please try to get there early enough to account for parking time. As we all saw from our first game that parking is no picnic at this school. Thank you.
