Bulletin from Pinecrest Premier Soccer Club - 01/31/2011

Pinecrest Premier Soccer Club
January 31, 2011

Dear Parents:

Welcome to our 10th Anniversary Spring Soccer Session!  Registration has closed and we are now in the process of assigning players to teams and then we will make the game schedules.
You will hear from your coaches towards the end of the week of Valentine's Day.  Your coach will inform you of your practice days and times and your game schedule.  Uniforms will be distributed by the coaches.  Practices will begin the week of February 21st with your first game on Saturday, February 26th.

Some returning teams have started practice already on their own; however, PPSC's official season begins Monday, February 21st.  If you haven't heard from your coach by Friday, February 18th, please call Maria at 305-804-1661.  Please do not call prior to this time; no information will be given.

If you have any other questions, please call our office at 305-255-3422.  Good luck this season!

Thunderbolts second practice

Well, today was our second practice until the official season starts next month. Two things that we have going for us is first, the players all are getting along and having fun with each other, and second, we seem to have already players geared for offense and defense. Also, we had a democratic vote on the teams name and Thunderbolt was the winner 4 to 3. You can imagine the 3 were not too happy but they accepted it, I think or hope so.

Our goal here is to practice our drills, strength and condition the team. All this will sharpen their skills and allow them to perform better and hopefully win games. The most important things is that they all have fun and enjoy the game. They will improve at their own individual pace so we will just have fun in the process and enjoy the ride.

If there is any comments or suggestion, please post into the blog as it's all our blog.  Please follow the Thunderbolts blog as I will try to update as we move along and this might be the best way to inform everyone on our progress.

Go Thunderbolts!!
